We started being highschool classmates about 20yrs ago and after that, we went our separate ways. I met you again at the end of 2016 when I first joined SCM/2. Imagine how happy and shocked I was to see you. At least there was one familiar face and a friend I could count on. After all these years, you still remain the same person that I first met 20yrs ago but now, all the traits I love about you is more enhanced πŸ˜‚

Its going to be weird when we go back to the office and not having you sit in front of me anymore. No more β€œGood Morning Gracie”, No more β€œDo you want to go to the canteen?”, No more β€œAre you hungry? I’m going to CB. What you want?” 😭

Thank you for all these years Grace. Thanks for being a friend, a great colleague and one of the best supervisors around in SCM/2. Thanks for always supporting me and guiding me eventhough technically I was not under your supervision πŸ˜‚ Thanks for never getting annoyed/bothered by my never ending questions.

Like a fearless warrior leading her troops from the front line. 

Yet, your leadership behavior is of a kind-gentle soul. Using smiles, endurance, politeness and β€œbeing a friend” approach with us. Investing time in people, listened to people and sharing suggestions gently. Amazing.

From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for showing us how to take back control of our time and life, not ignoring our inner calling, and reminding us to prioritize what is most important in life. This is the definition of being successful in life and what a blessing to discover it at such a young age.

Your decision to take a break to focus on your family is commendable and a very brave one. 

Please know that I am also very happy to have met the mini Grace i.e. Megan. I enjoyed the alone time with her whenever she came in the office and you were busy with your work. she is super fun, amazing, brave and intelligent. 

While it pains me to bid you farewell as you start a new phase of your life, I sincerely wish you the continued success in all your future endavours. Remember, we are the champions as per our SCM2 t-shirts. Take good care and keep in touch. I'll miss you.
