I give this book a 5.0 star rating because it is about Eleven- year- old Paul's French village has been under Nazi control for years.  His Jewish best friend has disappeared. Food is scarce. And there doesn't seem to be anything Paul can do to make things better.
Then Paul finds an American paratrooper in a tree near his home. The soldier says the Allies have a plan to crush the Nazis once and for all. But the soldier needs Paul's help.

I gave this book a five, becuase it is in verse, and it is really good.
Just before the farm, on the edge of town, on Twitch Street, sits the house of Mrs. Falala, an old lady who by the towns people owned at least a cow and a pig. Reena and her brother often hear the sound of a flute coming through the open attic window. One day Reena's father takes her and her brother to visit Mrs. Falala, but the visit does not go well. A mean black cat and a fat black hog greet them. Reena's dad brings Mrs. Falala two books, which turn out not to be what she wants. Then Reena has to go through many different experiences to get Mrs. Falala's ornery cow, Zora, to behave well.

I gave this book five stars, because it was a book I didn't want to stop reading! I really enjoyed this book, and I think you would too. Three teens join Portland’s Search and Rescue (SAR) team for very different reasons. For Nick, who lost his father in the Iraq War, volunteering with SAR represents true courage and leadership. For Alexis, SAR means overcoming a broken home and getting an college application. But for awkward and lonely Ruby, SAR is everything to her.

When the three teens are called in to find a lost, autistic man, they find a dead girl in the woods instead. Ruby is scared Portland has a serial killer targeting homeless girls, but the lead detective doesn’t believe her. Ruby, Nick, and Alexis investigate the murder on their own...
but the killer soon turns his attention to them.

I give this book a 5 because it's about football and how they get to play games and they have some challenges on the way. There is a kid who is a really good at knowing what the other team is going to do and he begs a lot to tell the cough to put him in and one day a HBS couch came to watch a game and his best friend was going to go there but he got a injury in the game so he went in the game and played the best he ever did and he scored touchdowns people were calling him Touchdown kid and he got a full ride to HBS. Then this guy that looks like a shark when he smiles makes a plane about a ship that is made out of complete iron. Then this guy that is on Licons team is making on that is way smaller.
