I was 6years old, in 2nd Grade in Primary school.
I used to participate a lot in class and I loved my teacher, Ms Roxanne. She was very lively, she always brought interesting games in class to make us learn new things. I was among the top class students because she made me feel confident.
One Monday, it happened that she was sick and did not come to school. Another teacher came to replace her. She was a little more strict and severe but I accepted the situation. On Tuesday, Ms Roxanne did not come to school again. I started feeling uneasy. The replacement teacher was giving tough questions and shouted when we were chatting with our friends. She would also hit our hand with a ruler when we were not silent. On Wednesday, I prayed that Ms Roxanne would finally come back..but she did not.
I was very sad and was feeling very very down. I was not motivated to work and was disgusted by school. I who used to love learning new things so much!! Thursday came and I was feeling horrible when Ms Roxanne was sick again. I could not take it in anymore and cried as I got back home. The replacement teacher was so mean to us and old and strict and bad and scary and angry and and and.....nothing was good about her. I did not like her, because I thought that she did not like me.
On Friday, very early in the morning, my dad accompanied me to school and we went up to talk to the replacement teacher. My dad explained to her that I missed my teacher Ms Roxanne and i could not adapt to her absence. My dad also requested her not to hit me on the hand if possible. The replacement teacher came up to me, said sorry and hugged me.
I felt relieved when Ms Roxanne finally came to class that day! ;)

At the end I got good grades and she was very proud of me. We can all say that this teacher is a very patient teacher and caring about her students...
