The music piece is basically consist of the notes and the notes can be break down by any single note. Each of the note has its meaning, the tempo, the pitch, the conscience of single note. The notes can be represent in a series of way and the notes can form in melodic way even so the melody of the song can bring the emotion to the listeners and convey the information or emotion the singers want the listeners to know and to feel. Ratliff stated that single notes represents the subject of the song and singer him or herself. If a single note keeps playing repeatedly, the song will make people feel steady and stubborn that the music stands the standard of itself with very qualities. From the example in the book, the solo of guitar plays single note steadily from the song"Oblivious" by Aztec Camera. The note he plays transiently and repeatedly which apparently stands out and highlight the will of the singer. Moreover, another example the song "Wisdom" which sang by The Guggenheim Grotto and the pitch of the voice of singer's is steady and calm and around the same single note and scaled up when the vibe of music roused.
