Lima is the only South American capital with access to the sea and has a great gastronomy!

Lima is known for the amazing food, seeing pacific ocean sunsets from the top of a coastline cliff, surfing waves all year long, historical architecture and ancient archeological sites scatered through out the city.

Based back where I grew up in sunny southern California, in the suburbs surrounded by hills covered in mustard flowers during the springtime and neighborhood streets perfect for skating, strolls with my husky, and enjoying the breeze and pretty trees.

Living right by Chino Hills State Park, the Gabrieliño-Tongva tribes set up camp there long ago gathering seeds, elderberries, and walnuts.

Migratory nesting birds fly up from Central and South America to the park's streamside habitats to raise their young!

Cape Town is famous for its stunning natural landscapes, particularly Table Mountain, rich history, diverse culture, and vibrant culinary scene.

Table Mountain is a biodiversity hotspot, within the Cape Floristic Region, which includes the mountain, boasting over 9,000 plant species, according to the Cape Town Tourism website. Around 69% of these plant species are endemic to the region.

I believe most of Tacoma sits on the unceded land of the Coast Salish people, particularly the Puyallup Tribe (who possess a reservation that is much smaller than their ancestral territory--same old story of greed and colonization).
