I’m live in the Ibague city, is the beautiful place. I’m living with my mom, she has 43 years old, she is a housewife and was born In Ibagué. I also live with my brother, he has 16 years old. He studies at the school and also plays video-games with me in the free time. Besides, I also have a pet. Ít´s a cat, his name is Haru. She is very playful and cute. We live in the normal apartment, it’s a bit little however is beauty.

I usually wake up at 8 o´clock in the morning and have breakfast at 8:40 am with my family. I like to eat pancakes with honey and strawberries for breakfast, then my brother goes to school. I don´t work but I go to my driving lessons every day, and I get home at lunchtime. I eat lunch at 1 o´clock in the afternoon. My favorite lunch is corn salad with tuna, but I also like spaghetti. After, I do my homework, I play games on my computer. My family and I eat dinner, at 7:00 pm, we usually eat toast and American coffee, then we watch TV. We like to watch series and movies. On weekends we go to church and we also go to the park, I like to walk. Finally, I am studying English at UNAD with the tutors and the E-book, I also like to listen to music in English and watch series in English to practice my vocabulary and pronunciation more.

Hello, my name is karen nicol albarracin Montiel, I’m single, I am from Colombia, I’m 18 years old and I’m studying psychology at UNAD. In my free time, I like to read and draw, but I prefer to watch the series on the TV with my family and friends.

I live in Ibague, so I am going to talk about this great city. Ibague is a small city located in Tolima, Colombia and in my city, there are many touristic places like: Plaza de bolivar, centennial park and my favorite, the museum of art.

In Ibague, the gastronomy Is very good. but our typical food in the tamal and lechona. The ingredients to make the tamal are rice, carrots, meats, potatoes, peas, and it is usually served on a banana leaf with bread. 

We have a great festival on June 28th. Is the San Pedro. We usually celebrate and prepare parades, concerts where people dance and fairs with many animals and food. Also, in my city, there some tourist places such as malls and parks, where there are people often enjoy visiting nature or shopping. Finally, in my city you can walk around the walls, enjoy the food, visit churches and museums. I hope you can visit Ibague someday, come on and enjoy this beautiful city.

Esta actividad y temas son un gran aporte de aprendizajes y conocimientos en mi vida personal, ya que ayuda comprender un nuevo idioma y desenvolverme ante cualquier situación que amerite interactuar con el inglés. Así como, aporta gran beneficio para mi vida laboral, pues sabiendo ingles puedo desempeñar con mas actividades y no rechazar ofertas increíbles de trabajo. (10)
