Sofronie Foundation and Child.org
This was my first experience of work within media. I really enjoyed my time with both organisations as I was able to share my creative input, and I learnt a lot about how organisations use the media to make people aware of what they stand for. I helped with the design of the new Sofronie Foundation, which is still in development, as well as experiencing board meetings and business trips to see how charities and foundations work.
 
Plus Shops Retail LTD - 2 Weeks
My first taste of work experience gave me an idea of office life, and the roles that are involved in a business. I was able to lend my creative skills to the design of a presentation for a board meeting, and felt the rewards of hard work.

Media Innovation
I feel that this module has been my strongest, both this year and the previous. I have been able to be creative and use my skills to generate and develop innovative media ideas that could potentially become a successful business venture. I have greatly enjoyed this assignment as I could use my creativity, which has given me confidence, that I showed when I pitched my idea. The confidence I have gained from this module has helped me in other assignments, and I will be looking to use it positively for the second semester.

Magazine Production
This assignment gave me a chance to show my creative skills and develop ideas alongside my work in Media Innovation. I enjoyed having creative freedom from generating ideas to designing the magazine as I had my own image and could follow it without compromise that I would face through working in a group. I had my own ideas and was able to develop them myself which made the process flow freely, resulting in a well designed magazine.

Music Business
In this module, I had to conduct in depth research into a music business. I chose to research a local guitar and instrument supplier as I was interested to discover how they run, and the people they supply.
