I need to plant them in the fall like we did at school. You may want to use fake mulch so slugs don’t want to eat your strawberries. You might want to put a cover over top of it in the winter to keep it from freezing. You need to garden them when it is very sunny so they don’t dry up. When you harvest you can freeze them, juice them, or make them into jam.
