Last Tuesday on the 4th of October, our group had visited a logistic company for the global supply chain assignment. The logistic company that we had choose for this assignment is Tiong Nam Logistic Company at Ipoh. Through out the journey, we had went through many adventures together that had strengthen our bond. From the malfunctioning of the rental car window and being chased by stray dogs at the company site, nevertheless the journey was a memorable one. At the company, we were given the opportunity to interview Mr Tan, a marketing executive of Tiong Nam Logistics Ipoh office branch. Mr Tan had even given us a tour of the logistic site including visiting the company warehouse where we were able to see up close and personal all the theoretical aspects of supply chain being applied at the company. The visit to Tiong Nam was exciting and beneficial for us and we would like to express our gratitude to everybody that had involved-Mr Tan and all the workers at Tiong Nam Logistics Ipoh and Miss Baitee for given us the chance to visit the company.
