Thinking about it now, I've rarely seen a tanned Chinese person. Also the strange sun hats they constantly wear, it makes sense now why I always seem them.

Something that I find different which is kind of scary is the feet binding idea, I heard about this once when I was younger but always assumed it was a myth. I can't believe anyone would endure this much pain just to have small feet.

I think that women in the Chinese culture are under a lot of stress to meet all these standards, and are willing to do many things to achieve it. While reading on several website I came across a quote. This quote is famous in China, "there are no ugly women in the world, just lazy ones" this means that everyone's beautiful as long as they try.
