Previously I wanted to make a cuboid shaped bench, but after much thought, I decided to make it in a T-shape so that the user can dangle and "shake" their legs.

This foam board is very thick compared to those I have used before, thus when I cut it with just a penknife, it will get slanted. I tried many different ways of cutting the foam board, I do not know the name of the materials that I have tried using, but I will try to take a picture of the tools I have used.

I went to artfriend to look for human models of scale 1:75, however they did not have the scale. Thus I went online to buy them, and they just arrived when school started:)

Tried using to make tiles with paper, have not colored them, decided to color them after I cut them into the various sizes.

Decided to redo the tiles as they did not give me what I wanted. Tried using this modelling plastic card and scribe out the tiles, so that it gives the 3D effect. I also measured the tiles so they are in scale.

I tried the method from the teachers, however, I felt that I wanted to make it look mode realistic, so I went on YouTube to watch how other people make their trees, and tried the few different methods before deciding on combining the teacher method and the online method. - Although I learned about photoshop when I was in Secondary School, it had been a while, so my skills got a little rusty. Hence, this activity was very useful as it helped me practice what I learned and apply on my work.

Army Open House 2022 Logo Design Competition

AOH stands for Army Open House, and the O represents Singapore with our National Flag. 2022 is represented by the 22 that is shaped into a heart to show our love for Singapore. On the left side of the logo, I drew Army Ship, Tank, and Planes. On the right side, I drew 3 soldiers in green to represent The Army, Navy, and Air Force. Generations of Strengths represent that the Singapore Army is strong, and protects all Singaporeans in the past, present and future. I made this logo from Illustrator. In the end, I got Second Place!!! I am so happy!!!

Preserved Flowers

I bought this preserved flower which still gives off a sweet scent after so many years. I do not normally buy flowers as I am not very skilled at caring for them. Although they wilt very fast, I still like to buy flowers sometimes as they help to brighten up my house.

Murraya Koenigii

My aunt also grows plants, and since the Murraya Koenigii (Curry Leaves) I had previously wilted from virus, she gave me some of her seeds, and they grew up beautifully. In addition, they help to add a calming and refreshing smell to my home.

Fittonia albivenis

Previously, I bought a pot of Fittonia albivenis, but some of its stem broke off, so I put it in a container of water so wait for its roots to grow before potting them so that they do not go to waste. Also, I recently learned that I should put them straight into the soil as these roots that grow from water are quite weak, and if I move them from the water to the soil after the roots have grown, they may not be strong enough to survive.

Orchid

This is one of the few flowers I have bought. However, all its flowers have fallen off, which was very sad, but I hope they will grow again. Before I bought this pot of orchid, I had thought hard about whether I should get it as my aunt and grandparents have orchids, but their flowers also fell off, so I was in a dilemma. In the end, I decided to buy it as although the flowers would not be there for long, at least my family and I would be able to enjoy it while it is there.
