In order to make something better or more than it requires creativity and being able to think outside of the box. Deviant behaviour can simply be something which is different but does not go against any rule or law. There are formal and informal deviant behaviours. Formal deviance usually has a right or wrong behaviour which is enforced by the law. Informal deviance can have a grey area where there is no right or wrong behaviour. An example could be giving someone a thumbs up. In some cultures this may be seen as rude whereas in others it may not be an issue.
