Studio H was effective. They offered opportunities to the locals who originally had nothing. For our community we could maybe build a really cute cafe near our school sense there is nothing on this side of town to eat at.

1) I think Studio H was effective, it impacted students it was just the fact that the school board refused to pay them that they could not continue their work in NC.

2) I think perhaps a cafe or independently owned book/comic store could bring more interest in some lesser visited parts of town (*cough north durham *cough)

I believe Studio H was effective because it allowed students to put their time into something that would benefit their community. Studio H also allowed students to have something to call their own.

I think that a community garden would be helpful in our community, because not only would it provide food but it would also allow people of the community to come together and do something positive.

In my opinion I think it was effective because it helped the student see a different side of architecture and gave the students a fun reason to go to school. Some helpful team projects would be helping out clean up some areas with lots of trash and also plant more trees.

I guess they were effective, since they got done what they what they wanted to get done. The community projects didn't seem that significant, though. I don't really know what kind of projects would be helpful to the community, but our community isn't really struggling in comparison to Windsor.

I think Studio H was effective because of the way it impacted the students, and ended with them wanting to make a difference in their community. Especially because even now, the students are looking for ways to be helpful.

A project that could be helpful now in our own community would be something like a farm/park kind of thing. Most people I know living in Durham have never really been on a farm, and have never had the opportunity. I think to give people access would be helpful as a whole.

Studio H was effective due to the fact that it benefited the students and it opened different types of opportunities to them. Also Stevie came to talk about how Studio H impacted his life and his future. He wasn't a very devoted student but after he collaborated with various people his age, it made him think differently and he became very motivated and positive towards everything.

I think Studio H was effective. Though it ended, it gave hope to the people of Windsor. They finally knew that they could rise up, that is it possible to become more through this small farmer's market. To outsiders, it may be some raggedy, unpainted, soon-to- be moldy, wood structure, but to the people of Windsor, it is a spark that could turn into something grand.

I feel that studio H was effective because there was a problem posed and these people who were willing to work without pay came in and started this project solely to help this community prosper. I also think this project was pretty successful because it brought different types of people together and showed them to work together and that sometimes they would have to do things that they might not enjoy. For example, at the beginning of the film, Jamersha didn't want to participate at all, and at the end she was working on the building for the farmers market and that shows extreme amount of change in a small period of time. They were trying to make jobs for the community, and this helped a couple new companies open up.

Studio H was effective because it helped some students learn how to use tools, work together, and how to restore the hope and faith of the people in Bertie County. Although they didn't come back the next year they still had the opportunity to learn something new and call something their own. The Farmer's market helped some small businesses flourish in the small community.

Studio H was a nice idea, and something which was helpful for a period of time. However, the program would need to be repeated and established for it to make a true difference. They built a farmer’s market, yet they only used one class of kids. These kids continue to grow, and they certainly learned from the experience, but none of them moved on to change the community in a major way. Many still moved out, as we heard; one is in the Marines, one moved to the coast. We would not be able to reproduce a program on this level because we simply don't have the resources. Our community in Durham does not have the same issues that the town we watched had, because there is economy here. But some kind of program which helps kids turn ideas into tangible things could be helpful in teaching kids life lessons.

I think studio H was effective. The unconventional class room gave kids an opportunity to take leaning into their own hands. When given the opportunity to lean in such a way many children will take home the ideas of the learning.

Studio H changed the way I think about goals.

Honestly I found it depressing and sad plus even

though they got done with their project ,

ultimately it was a fail because they did it

once and didn't do it again in the same city.

I hope SCS doesn't take their advice and use

all of their resources just to fail.

I feel asleep but I saw this last year. Studio H was effective and non-effective, because they helped the kids involved progress in life from where they were but also non-effective cause they haven't done anything like that since Matt and Emily left.

1) Studio H was very effective. It did two things two those kids and the town. One was it gave the kids hope that they had a good future, But they also gave the town that view also. And second is that they gave them a foundation. And I mean by that is they taught the kids to work together and build. Plus the town now can grow after the market.

2) I Think If They Mad A Little Café For Teens To Study And Have Fun.
