My father´s name is Michael, and my mother´s name is Tracy. Mom is from Missouri and my dad is from Illinois. My dad´s side of the family ¨Zittle¨ is from the country of Prussia which actually doesn't exist any more. We havent done much research on where my moms family is from. We recently had a family reunion of my dads side in Illinois about a year ago and it was great to meet all my relatives and learn more about where my family is from. It was held in my dads home town, of Rochelle Illinois and it was nice seeing where he grew up and his old houses from his childhood.

I was born on march 16th 1999. I was a month early, I tried to be 2 months early. My dad wanted to name me Justin Allen Zittle, but my mom wanted to name me Nathaniel Gerrett Zittle. Guess we know who won, I like my name but justin allen would have been kind of cool. My initials would have been JAZ and that would have been pretty darn cool. When i was very young i fell of a bed and landed on my back, i immediately had an asthma attack, from then on i had asthma. Eventually i grew out of it but i did have to take breathing treatments and pills and stuff like that. At one point i had an asthma inhaler but i never used that too often, it never flared up bad enough.

I grew up in southwest Missouri, first it was fair grove, then it was Ozark, Ava, then back to Ozark. When my mom had me in springfield we lived in fair grove. then we moved out to south fork. We finally moved to ozark while i was in kindergarten. The house in Ava was probably my favorite, it was huge and we had a lot of property with horses. It was 2 stories with a walk out basement. It was fun being able to run around in the woods and swim in the creek. Then we moved back to ozark just down the road from north elementary. It was a town house or an ¨apartment¨, we down sized so that dad could join the army and we could live on moms salary for a little bit. Then we moved behind walgreens which was great and i made a bunch of friends. Finally we moved to our current house which is a lot more handicap accessible that comes with a pool and my own room in a separate building.

I really want to join the army as soon as i can. I have always wanted to at heart, my plans have changed a few times here in there. I always go back to wanting to join the military, I cant imagine something more important or meaningful to do with your life. I love cars, the 2 cars i have had i think have been pretty unique i started out with a 1968 mustang then traded my way up to a 2004 bmw m3. The m3 has better performance than the mustang but i still miss it from time to time. I am super particular about things when it comes to my car. No body but my parents are allowed to drive it, there is a certain way you have to wipe it down, i care about the little things as much as the important things.

My Dads Father passed about 6 years ago. He was on his way to his brothers funeral, and had a heart attack. He died there on the road back to his home town. That funeral was the first time i had truly seen my dad cry. It was surreal, the impact of the loss didn't until they played taps. When the veterans of foreign wars did the 21 gun salute it gave me more pride than it did sorrow. Before this happened we were out at the ozark park celebrating my dad being home from the army. While we were there my grandpa went to look at the water by himself, he had fallen in and no one knew or saw. My friends and I were playing on the swing set and heard someone calling for help. At first we thought it might be a trap, you know, someone trying to lure us. When we went to investigate I saw that an older man had fallen into the river. Then i realized who it was, I had never and ran that fast in my life, and i havent ran that fast since. I sprinted to the campsite yelling for my dad, When i got there the whole family took of running back to the river. That was the fastest i had seen my dad run as well. When we made it to the river my dad and one of my friends dad jumped into the water to get him. It seemed like it took forever for the ambulance to arrive, once it did he was rushed to the hospital. The first time i saw him after that, he was hard to look at. His whole face was swollen ans he had a huge purple bruise above his right eye. Everyone referred to me as his guardian angel. Unfortunately that is my most vivid and memorable memory of him, and i would love the chance to replace that.

All right, my favorite movie is ¨Black Hawk Down¨ i can watch it 2 times in a row and be down to watch it a third time. It is just so well made and i love that its a true story and the people depicted in the film are real people that went through that experience.
My favorite car is a 2015 bmw m4 GTS, it just looks so amazing. Its fast, Its sharp, and its just awesome. I wont be able to afford it anytime soon but it isnt the most expensive car out there.
I dont have a favorite song, the genre of music im listening to changes very often. It can go from rap to classic rock to select country songs. Modern country music is not very good in my opinion.

When i took my senior pictures i still didnt feel like a senior, like this is my last year in school. It will be weird not being in school, seeing the people i see on a daily basis. I hope im ready to have more responsibility, im hoping the army will teach me the necessary skills i need to be a real adult. When going to events i never thought of them as ¨the last time¨ it hasnt really hit me and it probably wont until right after graduation.

When i was younger I was big into the military and action figures. I had wanted to be in the army way before my dad did but he stole my idea, anyways. The action figures turned into video games and just recently i think i have pretty much grown out of them. Now i just like taking care of and detailing my car. I am also very good at skeet shooting and i enjoy that very much. I enjoy shooting of any kind really. Its fun and gives you a bit of adrenaline and gives you a confidence boost when youre able to accurately engage a threat that in a real scenario could potentially cause you or other people harm.

My dad has most of the family stories, so i guess i will tell his. My dad was a officer for christian county and at the time there were only 2 officers for the whole county at night. While he was out he got the call for a vehicle that had gone of the road. When he arrived he noticed the guy was very intoxicated. After trying to talk the guy out of the truck for a while, the guy pulled a pocket knife out from between his legs. At which point my dad pulled his sidearm and began shouting at the man to put the knife down. The man refused to do so and started alternating the knife from putting it in his mouth, to putting it to his neck. By now my dad had told the man to put the knife down over and over again. Finally the man put the knife to his neck and slit it, immediately my dad pulled the man from the truck and got him to the ground and began applying pressure to the wound. The whole time he was trying to call for an ambulance. But with Christian county being so big, all the other officer were getting was bits and pieces followed by static. At one point it went out as ¨officer down" and every officer on duty that night was rushing to the scene. Finally the other officers and emergency vehicles arrived and were able to stabilize and move the man to a hospital. My dad ended up receiving a life savers medal from the state and the man recovered but was not greatful however, the only thing he said was that he would do it right the next time.

If i could do my life over again, i would like to not be born a month early. I would like to not be put on formula immediately after birth. I would like to not have gotten an Xbox so early in my life. I would like to be more active and sports inclined in my younger years. I wouldn't have talked so much about video games in my younger grades. I would play as many sports as i can, not because i want to play professionally but because i would be in amazing shape all the time. I would spend more time with my dad being active before he became disabled. If i hadn't been introduced to video games at all i would have spent a lot more time in general with my family. Instead i played games as much as possible, i only recently grew out of them. Basically i would live my life without video games and electronics.

I dont know about a family of my own at this time. I would like to have one but i dont want to burden anybody with worry, and i dont want my children to resent me for not being there and i dont want to deal with the regret of not being there. I hope in 10 years my dad will be proud of my decision and not as worried. I hope he respects me and doesnt doubt me. I hope i dont regret my decisions in 10 years.
