This tells me that North has gone through this with his mother again and that he is annoyed and acting like a child. This also shows that Hecate has also gone through this before and is calm about almost anything her son does. This tells me that the queen gets what she wants, when she wants it. This makes me think that she just wants what she wants and that she doesn't care about what happens to the people she rules over. She doesn't care if the bracelet was a gift, she just wants to take it off. This shows me that Sydelle is really angry at North for lying to her and testing on her. She would have given him her blood if he would have asked. She feels, angry, annoyed, sad and betrayed. Sydelle is usually really happy to be with North and likes him a lot. She cares for him a ton. This shows that Echo was in pain because he tossed her away and only loved himself. This part of the text shows that Sydelle keeps thinking about North, even though their miles apart and she is extremely angry at North. She has a lot of feelings when she hears his name and she wants to be with him but she also wants to slap him. Beatrice was supposed to be taking care of a goddess, or Sydelle. Everyone in this kingdom thinks that Sydelle is the goddess that will help the kingdom destroy Sydelle's kingdom. She does not want to do this but she also does not want to lose her head.
