There, he finds out that Zeus’s powerful lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy as a son of Poseidon, is the main suspect.


To prevent a war among the gods, Percy goes on a dangerous quest with his friends Annabeth, and Grover. Together, they face deadly monsters, ancient gods, and hidden enemies. Along the journey, Percy uncovers the truth about his past, the betrayal behind the theft, and the strength within himself. Percy returned the lightning bolt to Olymp and restored peace.

The illustrations bring the characters and the mythological world to life, and the plot is easy to follow even for those who haven’t read the original book ( I have).


The action is there, it's very readable. It’s perfect for younger readers or anyone who prefers comic over long text. I highly recommended it for fans of fantasy and Greek mythology.

But Percy knew that he would try it again soon and that he would succeed. He wanted to know the truth about himself.
