I chose this song because it goes with the mood in chapter 3. I also picked this song because it's saying the he can feel her "smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me". And this person has the some type of mood as the Hillburn family feel when they lost grandma. And poor Harlan was heartbroken when he found out that his best friend was gone. Harlan was always by grandma's side and away's only listen to her.

Chapter 8 is mostly about the conflict because R.C and Hiram go fishing in the Tallahatchie River. When they got to the river, they relaxed, later on Hiram saw that three negro boys. He got closer to see who they were and he knew one them which was Emmett Till (aka Bobo). Emmett went up to Hiram asking him if he had something to eat and Hiram said, " yeah, let me get some". But R.C woke up before Hiram can get the food for Emmett. R.C said,"We don't share our food with colored people". Hiram thought it wasn't a big deal to share food with colored people. But for R.C it was a big deal.

I chose this song because it goes with the plot in chapter 14 because Hiram decides to testify in court which takes place in Tallahatchie count courthouse. Hiram and grandpa have an argument about him testifying which Hiram's grandpa doesn't agree with him doing. Hiram doesn't want to do the wrong thing. He wants to do the right thing which will give justices to Emmett Till. He knows that he'll be a big trouble for testifying against R.C. Probably for doing that R.C will tell Naomi to not talk to Hiram.
