The first resource I chose to look at was School Tube. School Tube is a free resource for teachers to use. Teachers ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade can use School Tube. It is a collection of videos on anything educational. I think this is a good resource because it is any easy way to incorporate technology in the classromm. It is also a good bell warmer website. The teacher can find a video to show to the class fro the bell warmer. I would use this in the classroom in two ways. The first way would be as a bell warmer. It is a good way to start the day and the kids can get engaged watching an educatioal video. The other way I would use it is a resource for me. If i needed another way to explain how to do something I could pull up the video and let the kids watch it.

The second website I chose was Flash Card Machine. Flash Card Machine is basically self explainitory. It is an online website where you can make online flash cards to study. You can save these flashcards and share them with other people or you can view other peoples flash cards. I like this website because I use flashcards to study and with it being online it makes them easier to make and easier to keep up with. I would use this in the classroom as an activity to do on the day before a quiz or test. I would let the students make study flashcards and then in groups take turns studying their cards.

You go on the website and you can chose your subject so I chose vocabulary with this for every vocab term you get right you donate 10 grains of rice to help stop world hunger and you can change to any subject like math and more so I just think this is an awesome website.

Each question that the student gets right the makes of the site will donate rice to countries in need. This helps teach students about global awareness as well as offering a fun way for them to study. The second site I chose was Storybird. This site students can create a book by choosing a format and using photos that are uploaded onto the site. This is a creative way that students can turn their papers into a story to present. It can also be used to to encourage creativity from the students.

I really like how students can earn rice and give it to different institutions to help end the world's hunger. I believe the activities in this website are really nice and kid friendly. There are activities for a variety of different subjects, such as math, geography, sciences, and also SAT preparation.
It can be used for a teacher to assign activities for its students, or as a homework. It helps students to learn while having fun and helping to solve the world's hunger. It also gives students instant feedback on their progress, allowing them to see which areas they are struggling the most.

It has videos from all different subjects, such as animals, food, history, science, travel, and much more. It could be used in the classroom to help students in the learning of different subjects. Teachers could find the explanation for a subject from different teachers who have different methods of teaching. Then, the teacher could have students to watch different videos, so that they have different perspectives. Students could learn better by watching different teachers explanations.

The first source that I chose was Edmodo. Teachers create a group and then the students use a code to connect to the group. It is free to use for educators and students. Teachers can post assignments and grades. Students can discuss on forums or message each other. They can also edit their bios and upload pictures of themselves. I think it is a great way to keep the classroom organized by putting everything in one app. Plus it is great to use when you are not in the classroom.
www.edmodo.com
The second source that I chose was Story Bird. With this source, you can create your own stories by uploading pictures and putting in your own text. You can also upload poetry. Teachers can use this for a classroom assignment or even as a weekly thing where students create a story every week. I think it is a great way to express yourself plus you can share it on the app and allow other people to read it and you can read other people's.
www.storybird.com

Brooke Thomas The first website I checked out was school tube. I thought school tube was cool because it is filled with a bunch of videos you could use for any kind of educational purpose. It is also free which is good for any teacher, and this also means that students could access it at home. So how I would probably use this in my class is if we had any free time I would play a short video. Also I would use it as like a warm up into a subject if I could find a video relating to what I was going to teach that day.

Edmodo is a free site where teachers will make assignments available for students and students can easily complete the assignments. I liked this website because if a student is struggling with an assignment then they message their teacher straight from the site or they can message other students on Edmodo as well. A good way this website can be used in the classroom is if the teacher assigns many group projects then it would be easy for students to get ahold of each other by using this site.

The second source that I decided to choose was www.flashcardmachine.com. Flash card machine is basically what it says in its title. It is an online flashcard maker. I really liked this site because it takes the time consuming process out of making flash cards the old fashioned way with index cards. I think that you can use this a website in the classroom on review days or days right before finals, tests, and exams. That way, the students can review material without having to waste so much time making flash cards themselves.
