One thing which impacted me at NKF was how many patients there were mostly not English educated ppl . I should spent more time with my grandfather and talk to him more before he dies

My results were ok . I felt that my art was ok but idk y I fail🙄I plan to do more art practice especially my contour drawing.It sucked so bad.For English,I plan to do more comprehension to improve on my answering techniques.

- What was one thing that impacted you?>The auntie my group was talking to loved through the Japan occupation and her stories are very shocking. 

- How do you think you can change your life or how you see things after you have gone for the visit?>The auntie said we are very fortunate to have a good education and thus I will be more grateful of the opportunities I am given in terms of education.

2) Results
- Did you perform up to expectations?>I got higher than what I expected for Science , history , DNT but there were plenty subjects where I did not achieve my goal  .

1) NKF - one thing that impacted me was how the people suffered badly and how they went through dialysis . we should spend time with our love ones before they are gone . 
     - after i visited the NKF , i learn to respect the people around me and to be careful with my words whenever i speak with people . i also learn not to judge people easily just by looking at them when i do not know what they are going through . 
2) RESULTS - no , i did not perform up to my expectations . 
                      - my plans to improve my studies are to focus and revise more on the subjects that i failed . spend the weekends revising and doing notes on two subjects each day .

- That i should be aware of the types of food I eat and should not take advices from the elderly (especially those who have suffered from their previous eating actions) very lightly. 
- I can monitor my food and improve on my diet. Exercise more as well. 

2) Results
- I did not perform up to my expectations as I was very distracted and did not get to balance my CCA, studies, upcoming church activities and time for myself. 
- Better time management. Ask for help when I need to. Practice more exercises/assessment books and not just write & memorise notes.

- One thing that really impacted me was the stories of the elderly and the sight of them.

MYE 
- I really studied hard for mye hoping that I can do well for all the subjects except for history!! But unfortunately I don't know what really happened but I failed my lit which used to be always an A2 or A1. I really feel bad abt it
- The mistake I did was to revise last minute!! Ive learnt a huge lesson for my results which was I should have started my revision way too earlier and my results would have shown.

The visit to NKF impacted me as the elderly are no longer able to enjoy things they do in the past as they have a physical disability and cannot eat certain food as it will worsen their health. Therefore, I am careful with the amount and type of food I eat and also make sure I am active. I also shared things I have learnt in NKF with my family so they can take care of their own health too.

2. Results
I think that I can produce better results if I had revised a month earlier. 1.reflection on NKF

I was impressed by the auntie I talked to.She is 86 years old.When she came to Singapore, she was only 4 and before the Japanese Occupation!!She talked about the life during Japanese the Occupation and I could not imagine how she survived.She even ate grass as there were lack of food.From that day on,i began to appreciate everything I have.Also,she gave me some advice on keeping myself healthy.

Reflection on my results 
  
I think I did okay for my Mid Year paper.Something disappointed me was that I failed my literature and art! I am actually expecting to pass all the subjects.Also, I am expecting to get A for geography but I got a B4.To improve on these subjects,firstly, I need to do more practice on English Comprehension and find a way to memorise more vocabulary.Also, I need to memorise all my geography notes. I did not get A for geography is because I did not memorise everything and I need to practice more. I do not know how to improve on my art

1) NKF
- The uncle getting ill by taking a lot medicines was a new thing that I learn. he gave advises abt life and education  which impacted me. It impacted me by me being more aware of their condition  and what's impt  to be good in future. This make me realise on the the patient's sufferings. After this LJ, I started to spend more time with my grandparents and started to help them at stuffs.

2) Results
- My CA1 was not good as I expected but I think for SA1, i did reach my expectations. Literature was hard this time. Besides  that I think I did well for my SA1.
During this holiday, I am going to do more assessment books and cope up with the topics that are hard for me. Seeing those kind elderly in those chairs and those machines attached to them made me sad and want to become a doctor to help people more.
I will balance my meals with more vegetables and fruits and eat less fast food and bubble milk tea and exercise more. I will heed the warnings of the elderly and stay healthy. :)

Yes, a couple of them exceeded my expectations, the rest were generally what I predicted to be. 

2. How would you further improve on your results?

Manage my time better as I studied till it was quite late at night, and try to prioritise more important things as much as possible.

- The pain that patients have to go through every 3 days a week.
- I can eat healthier and I will tell my grandparents more about kidney failure and to take care of themselves.
