The ethnography focuses on the social practices and interactions of the culture sharing group. Ethnography had its beginning in cultural anthropology conducted by 20th century anthropologists. &nbsp;<br><br>Characteristics:&nbsp;<br>The ethnography is a qualitative design.<br>The ethnography focuses on a complex description of the culture. Its aim is to observe a situation without imposing any deductive structure or framework upon it. &nbsp;<br>Drawing from anthropology and sociology. Researchers look for patterns in ideas and beliefs.&nbsp;<br><br>Implementation Steps<br>Using primarily observations and interviews and collecting other sources during extended time of the field. Select cultural themes and theories to be used in the study. Gather information where the group works or lives.&nbsp;<br><br>Pros and Cons<br><br>Pros:&nbsp;<br>It's help to get a better understanding of cultural events. It's helps to see the bigger picture. It helps to focus on a single event or several activities.&nbsp;<br><br>Cons: The researcher needs to have an understanding of cultural anthropology. The time for collecting data is extensive.<br><br></div>]]></description>
