I have a desire to see more students of color at PLNU and in the nursing program. Often times I hear students of color say, they don't belong at PLNU. We all belong to Christ and if we are his servants, we should reach out to those who may not feel they belong. My why is that each of us reflect the Imago Dei (image of God) and when I see people exploited or marginalized it is an assault on the image of God in that person. My why is that I AM CALLED- called to show up and create a space that allows others to recognize the image of God in each other and to call the body of Christ to action.
