I've been a Bullet Journal fanatic since 2015, so Padlet seems to be a great tool for keeping different boards, like motivation boards, as shown in the class.

I've used Canvas. I liked this tool, especially the diversity of drawings available. The real plus of that tool is its free premium feature for teachers with an academic email address.

A disadvantage would be that when creating a presentation, if you want to create triggers like in PowerPoint, you have to duplicate your slide multiplied by the number of elements and add one by one on each slide, which is way too long for presentation, so to use in a presentation I prefer PowerPoint, but to create visuals, canvas, in my opinion, is the way to go.

I created that visual to present the different actions and questions a pupil can ask at the beginning of the year in middle school.

I used Lucidspark for the data visualization task, and honestly, it was pretty impressive. Overall, Lucidspark is a valuable tool for collaborative visual data representation. It's a bit similar to some of the Abode suite products I'm familiar with, and it has a similar interface.

As for whether I'd use it again for a similar task? Absolutely. Despite the minor hiccups, the benefits definitely outweighed the drawbacks, such as the need for an internet connection.

I've used Zeood as it offers a platform for generating fake tweets and social media posts. I can utilize Zeoob to enhance lessons on media literacy, and critical thinking. Discussions on the ethical implications of creating and sharing fake content can be initiated through Zeoob-generated examples. Overall, Zeoob serves as a valuable tool for teachers to promote informed and responsible online behavior among students.

Unit plan on "Junk Food"

To create that unit plan, I used ChatGPT with the prompt:

"Please create a student-centered lesson plan for English as a foreign language students (beginning A2 level to mastering A2 level) about junk food. Make it appropriate for 13- and 14-year-olds. Ideally, it will consist of 7 to 8 45-minute sessions before the final task."

Then I asked:

"What do learners of English as a foreign language have to learn or review in order to successfully be able to talk about junk food? Please put the objectives into categories such as "lexical", "grammatical", "sociolinguistic", etc."

Then, I asked for phonological and cultural objectives.

I also used "Twee" to create a list of vocabulary about the subject.

I think that the use of both software concurrently would compensate for their weaknesses.

ChatGPT unit plan lacks a few written exercises, especially for middle school students.

it also lacks a proposition of documents about the subject, but "twee" can remediate that.

Overall, ChatGPT's capacity to create lesson plans is great as a starting point. It prevents writer's block but needs a lot of tweaking to be usable.

It is a great tool for teachers. I've already used it in my lesson plans for my class as I am an AED prépro and plan to continue using it for a long time.
