Students will be able to knowingly create right, acute, and obtuse triangles (using rulers only) to form larger triangles with little error.
3. Students will be able to compare and contrast the identities of right, acute, and obtuse triangles from angle recognition discovered from use of protractors with accuracy.

As we have discussed in our previous classroom discussions most right triangles contain the measurements 90 degrees and two 45 degrees angles. We know that triangles' angles must equal up to 180 degrees. This is where the special right triangle comes into play. This right triangle contains the angle measurements of 90 degrees, 60 degrees, and 30 degreed.
