         <description><![CDATA[<div>* Evidence has shown that quality of teacher-student talk helps development of reasoning and improvement of academic performance.</div><div>* Most of the current language used by teachers funnels students responses towards a required answer, which way limit their development.</div><div>* Wolf, Crosson and Resnick (2006) found that when teachers check students understanding with yes/no questions or frame the question in a way that the student just has to finish the sentence this does not help develop their high reading skills. They also concluded that to develop students comprehension teachers should use questions that require elaboration.</div>]]></description>
