One thing about the environment of the homelands that can drive them to Egypt is the lack of plants or animals that they can gather to eat and survive. One thing about the physical geography of the homelands that can lead them to Egypt is the lack of nutrients in the soil or the lack of fertile soil as they won't be able to grow plants for food or for plants to be grown for livestock. Since Egypt has the Nile River which makes the soil fertile, going to Egypt would solve this problem. One thing about the climate of the homelands that would drive them to Egypt is the climate being too cold as the animals would freeze and die along with the plants. So, the desert would be much better for them. In conclusion, these are some of the reasons why invading cultures might have came to Egypt.

The Nile river brought along fertile soils for farming and also was a good source for water. The Egyptians created calenders to know when the Nile river would flood. The desert surrounding Egypt also provided an amazing source of protection. With all the heat and not knowing the way around Egypt this was a perfect defense and invaders would die because of heat or dehydration. The protection and farming is something other cultures wanted so they invaded and tried to conquer Egypt.
