Our planet has been devastated in many ways. A great number of animal species have already disappeared or are at risk of nearly extinction. In Brasil, trees like Jacarandá and animals like Lobo –guará and birds like Araponga are in danger. The list is growing fast and polititians and citizens don’t do anything to help them.

Blue macaws are animals that stand out for their beauty. The species is currently endangered in Brazil due to irresponsible hunting, wildlife trafficking and the degradation its natural habitat.
If we defend the survival of endangered species, we will protect their habitat and, consequently, society will benefit because it depends a lot on preserved areas.
If we preserve the environment, we will guarantee water supply in cities and the recurrent rainfall.

Last week I was surprised by the news that the Ivory-billed woodpecker is extinct. This bird is very representative for my age's people, because we grow up watching the wood woodpecker cartoon, that was inspired in this native bird.
The researches show that the climate changes are caused mainly by human activities, that have important influence in the number of endangered animals.
I am very sad about it, because the next generations will not have the opportunity to know this bird. If we had care about it, they would know the Ivory-billed woodpecker. Maybe, if we change our lifestyle now, a lot of endangered species would be saved from extinction.

Brazilian animals endangered in Brazil, over 701 animals.

This leaves us shocked. we are a country that has always been proud of its exuberant nature and yet, in such a short time, we allowed our government to be so disastrous that it caused this situation.

But, these animals are on the list of animals that we knew, we can't even imagine the ones that hadn't been discovered yet. If our government were a conscientious government, without corruption, our wild animals would probably be in a different condition. They would be much more valued, we would have more scientists working for their cataloging and preservation together with the communities that live with them.

When we think about endangered species we are talking about something very special and important to all of us.
Basically if we don´t try as hard as we can to keep the species the way they should be we probably will break the nature balance and everything we know may suffer a lot.
Nowadays we can see that all being suffers, no matter if it is a fish, a plant or an animal, even humans ourselves are suffering because of our terrible choices. If we had planned very well our growth, we wouldn´t have so much destruction and desorganization in our cities. Since the beginning it should be our responsability to look foward and prevent some problems.
According to the current scenario hope and self responsability and group work is the key to start planning a better world. But for that, we need to be open to change and don´t wait personal gain for it.
In Brazil there are many endangered species, such as the Stealthy Jaguar, Sea Turtles and Black Jaguar.

There are many endangered species in Brazil and a lot more around the world. That’s for sure the growing list of endangered spices says we don’t really care about nature or the planet. Shortening the growing list is possible only if people do minimal necessary to contribute to those who are already trying to make it possible, but it is difficult to happen I must confess.

Endangered species and the world's future

1. When we’re talking about endangered species automatically we’re talking about bad effects human activities have over our natural habitat, the Earth Planet. The growing list of endangered species on Earth is only one of many consequences human exploration activities. Particularly, I’m very worried about the future of those world’s endangered species.
2. I'm not so good informed about which are the endangered species, but after I search this on Google I found many endangered species around the world, for example, mountain gorillas, Black Rhinos and Forest Elephants in Africa.
3. The growing list of endangered species reveals that Humankind is not willing to give up certain highly polluting industrial processes and highly destructive activities, environmentally speaking.
4. In Brazil there are many endangered species, among there are “Boto cor-de-rosa”, “Lobo-guará” and “Onça-pintada”.
5. I don’t think the list of endangered species can ever get shorter because industrial activities, natural resources extraction and the uncontrolled use of water will continues growing up. All those things will continue to happen because the financial interests will always be directing human activities.

Let's look at planet Earth. Seen from space it is blue. When we reach the atmosphere, we can see the continents, oceans, forests and urban spaces. It seems that there is a balance between environment and living beings. Closer we get our eyes to this space where life exists, so as the impacts on the environment become more visible. There are risks in the oceans, in the forests and in urban centers. Most of them caused by humans. We need to wake up to the reality that this cannot continue. We are responsible for the damage and must repair it as soon as possible.

I really worry about endangered jaguar. Here, where I live, many jaguar cubs are run over by cars. If the IBAMA stuff keep putting these animals here, the people will continue run over. If the IBAMA stuff had placed these animals in the forest, the cars on our highway would not have run over them .

I am worried about the world’s endangered species. I think the most endangered is the wildlife. Human beings are not concerned about their behavior about the use and disposal of plastic.

Plastic bags are bad news for wildlife. If an animal, fish or bird eats a plastic bag, it will often get stuck in the stomach, and may cause starvation and death. And that´s not all. If an animal gets caught up in one, it will often die as it tries to escape. One million birds die each year because of plastic pollution. Even if the bags break down, the plastic never disappeared because sunshine turns it into tiny granules. They are ingested by animals and fish and get into the food chain. Not nice.

The list of endangered species can ever get shorter if humans respect the lives of animals and their environment, by not throwing trash into the seas.

I care about endangere species. In Brazil we have the sea turtle, the jaguar and other endangered species. The list of species increases, because human beings are selfish and only think about their own species. Rainforests in Brazil aren't preserved as they should be and deforestation has also unfortunately increased.
