         <description><![CDATA[<p>Technology in my school is more like the example of Ms. Thompson's class. While the kids are learning from it, to me it seems like more of a time filler. Keeping a group busy while the teacher is in small group. Previously we had a tech program for math and reading and sometimes more than an hour total of the students day was spent on these programs. This year we are bringing back independent reading time!! I look forward to seeing students spend less time on Ipads!</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The use of technology at my school is more like Ms. Thompson's class. It's a requirement that students most do I-ready for 30 minutes a day and teachers will have students do this when they have completed other assignments and have free time. I've noticed that the students at my school are more like Ms. Thompson's. They get frustrated when they get stuck on a problem or they just guess. So for the teacher it can be hard to truly know if all students are getting the best use out of the technology or how it can be used in a more engaging way other than just a filler or requirement. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Technology that is being used in the classrooms at my school is similar to the technology used in Ms. Thompson's classroom. While the students are asked to log onto whichever platform the teacher assigns for class to do , such as Zearn, IXL Learning, or something of that nature, the teacher is able to focus on students who need a little extra help. The platform used would depend on the grade level of the students. This allows for the teacher to work with students in small group settings, while still having the rest of the class working in the assigned lesson on their Chromebooks. I have seen this work, as students are engaged in technology that they can use independently while still completing a lesson.</p>]]></description>
