My grandma was always willing to move, but my grandpa was the one who needed convincing. In PH, he had a family to feed and a job as a bus driver. However, after word came out from my grandma's relatives that they can get them a job if they move to the US, that's when everything went into motion

I thought this was a complete joke however, my mom, aunt, uncle and my cousin were scheduled for an interview at the U.S. Consulate in Manila. I was exempted since I found out I was an American citizen. At first I wasn't completely prepared for the new environment I'm about to face however I still have few months to mentally and physically prepare myself. In mid July, we left the Philippines and restarted our life in the U.S.
