I'm placed carefully into fields where nothing can be seen for miles. 
I wait patiently and silently with many, some make it and some don't.
I hope I make it.
As the weeks continue, I slowly rise to the surface where I encounter life.
I hear tweets, I get bitten, I feel the wind, I touch the rain but most importantly I feel the warmth.
The warmth is my meaning of life.
I watch the warmth rise everyday from east to west and that's how I know I've made it another day.
The sun makes me smile and dance. 
But my season of life is limited.
When the time comes, my seeds are taken and harvested and the fields once again are flat, missing the yellow glow I give.
Yet, I find my glow brings happiness to different lives all around on different counters and on different occasions.
I bring warmth, color, and smiles.
And when my time officially ends and I'm all dried up, I know its not forever, because we'll meet at the fields under the sun once again.

Some days I don't move and some days I am moving all over the sky.

It's quite boring during the week until the weekend reaches. Mainly Sundays I'd say.
Thats when I have most fun along with people. 
My time of having fun is only meant for the fall and some winter.
When those seasons end, I sit in the storage room. Waiting to be picked up again and it turns out, people cant wait to pick me up again too.

I come in different forms, bright and fluffy or big and dark.
Most get annoyed when I bring them a gift that helps the plants grow.
They like me when I'm bright and only a couple of me are showing.
The weather depends on if I come or go. 
I bring storms, snow, and sometimes heavy winds.
You can look at me and judge what kind of day it will become but I wont always be around.
Some days I will show, some days I am in another place, making people question what day they will have.

I then wait to be opened and chosen to go to a forever home. 
People tend to be careful with me in the beginning then once they are used to me they rely on me for a lot.
Kids learn how to use me at a young age. They even learn songs on how to use me too. 
There is no specific age for people to start using me but you will need me forever.
 I usually live a long life until I am worn out or my owner grows. I do not go outside everyday depending on when owner wants me to go. 
I help people with their comfort while moving around the day. 
I come in all different sizes, colors, and shapes.
I can be given as gifts and for special occasions. Some people collect me and keep me forever. 
I can be out at all hours of the day.

A little kid picks me out and takes me home.
At my new home, I get pumped up and kicked around.
I get taken to practice multiple times a week.
I get beat up pretty badly.
I get passed around the field, on the ground, and in the air.
I get kicked really hard when there is an opening.
I might go wide or above the goal.
I might hit a post or 2, maybe the crossbar. 
But when I touch that net it is an amazing feeling.
Listening to friends and family cheer.
Watching the kids celebrate and congratulate each other. 
At the end of the day, I am put back into my bag.
Ready for more exciting days ahead.

If a miracle does happen though and the sun continues to stay, a rainbow may come your way. 
Lots of people feel my presence and run under shelter, but some beg to differ. 
Depending on the climate, I can be seen as refreshing and a nice cool down, but others can find me cold and a terrible way to start or end the day. 
If one does dislike the way I come across, they might be seen with a shied-like object that blocks all access of myself approaching them.

So we create our swaddle and then grow through the process.
Some humans love to see us transform into the beautiful creatures we are.
When I am ready to come out, I can be blue, red, yellow, or any other color. Displayed with detail of dots or lines on me. I appear more in the spring around the flowers. 
Fly as high as in the sun and on warm days, especially.
