Okey guys, so first day we discuss about "Adab in Seeking Knowledge" 📚such as

Sincere Intentions‼️

As a muslim, we need to have a sincere intention in seeking knowledge by setting the intention to study for the sake of Allah SWT✨.

Ibn al-Mubarak explained that the beginning of 'ilm is to have the correct intention🤍, then take note📝 and listen 👂🏻, understand , memorise act upon it 🕌and then spread it🗣️'

People should not seek knowledge for worldly interest 🤑, such as acquire leadership😴.

in Surah al-Kahf (18:60-82), Allah SWT mentions the stoy of Prophet Musa A.S . The story offers insights into Adab and manners in seeking knowledge for its seekers to contemplate and use as a guidance in their pursuit of knowledge💥

Firm and Strong determination💪🏻

Allah S.W.T mentions in Surah al-Kahf [18:60]

"And (mention) when Musa said to his boy [ i.e., servant] , 'I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period'😵 ."

Some lesson can be derived from the narrative of Prophet Musa AS and Prophet Khadir AS for students of knowledge😆 , particularly the virtues of determination optimism and persistence . With the above values , they can easily understand the lesson that the teacher explains🤩, acquire new knowledge and skills, undergo a tiresome journey💥 , and face difficulties and hardship in their quest for sound knowledge🥹 .It is worth notig that seeking knowledge is not limited to time and age.🧓🏻

Pray to Allah SWT🤲🏻

As a muslim, we need to pray to Allah to give us understanding and ease in seeking knowledge🙇🏻. As we know that God is omniscient. Among the prayers is

“ O God, open upon us Your wisdom and pour upon us Your treasures, O God Who is Most Generous and Most Merciful. ”,✨

and

اَللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهُّ فِي الدِّيْنِ وَعَلِّمْهُ التَّأْوِيْلَ

“Ya Allah, give him understanding in religious matters and teach him Takwil (interpretation of the Qur'an).”🤍

Stay Away From Vices👹🫨

"Knowledge and Vice cannot unite"💥

as we know this sentence is a trend now so that it can prevent a person from committing immorality while seeking knowledge🤩. This is because, committing sins even as small as a particle makes us earn Allah's evil🥹. When you get Allah's evil, knowledge will be difficult to understand and not a blessing💨. Even if one succeeds, it will be called istidraj🤒

Don't Be Arrogant👿

As seekers of knowledge (thalibul 'ilmi), we should know the devil's loopholes to mislead people🫨. We have learned that one of the ways Satan leads people astray is through wealth and greed for the world😵‍💫. However, few of us know that the devil also leads people astray through knowledge. That is, by making the owner of the knowledge become arrogant and condescending to people because they feel they have knowledge👿. It is generally shown with a harsh nature, a hobby of debating coachmen, and a lot of unwisely talking about other people's faults🗣️.

Wahb bin Munabbih, may God have mercy on him, said,

إن للعلم ظغيانا كتغيان المال

"Surely knowledge has arrogance just like the arrogance of wealth." (an-Nubadz fi Adabi Thalabil Ilmi, p. 185)

We should not be arrogant just because we have knowledge📈, because we do not deserve to purify ourselves and then humiliate others. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says,

فَلَا تُزَكُّوا أَنفُسَكُمْ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اتَّقَى

"Then do not consider yourselves holy🤍. He is the one who knows best who the pious people are✨.” (QS. An-Najm: 32)

For Example :-

We pray for him to change into a better person and benefit others🤲🏻.

If we are angry👿, we must follow the way taught by the Prophet Muhammad🤍, that is, if we are angry while standing🚶🏻, then sit down🧑🏻‍🦼, if we are angry while sitting🧑🏻‍🦽, lie down😴, if we are angry while lying down😪, then go and perform wudu' and pray two raka'at🕌

Do not say bad things about that person 🤐because Islam forbids Muslims to say bad things🤗

So, in this week we have discussed about three main stages about Iman 🏆

Believe in Allah SWT💞

Muslims believe in the existence of Allah, the only God☝🏻. Allah is the only God, the creator of the universe, and the judge of mankind. God is eternal, all-knowing, all-seeing, all-hearing, and all-powerful💥. God is just and rewards and punishes justly. God is also unique and does not have a shape and form as imagined by humans😵

So in this topic we discuss about how can we relate belief in God to relationships in our lives

then 🫨, most of my friends give different opinions.

For the first point, in every relationship we have such as family or friends and other people, we have to make sure that our intentions are for the sake of God😉. For example, we are friends with someone not just because of material things but to improve ourselves and be sincere because of God.

That is one of my friends opinion, so for my opinion is ;

In every relationship, we need to intend to establish a relationship with the intention of God and believe that every test that happens in a relationship has wisdom behind it😍. Because God is all-knowing and God is all-loving.🥰

Believe in His Angels😇

"Believe in His Angels" is the second✌🏻 pillar of faith in Islam, which means believing wholeheartedly in the existence of angels as creatures created by God🫶🏻.

Angels were created from light and have certain tasks given by God💥, such as delivering revelations (Jibril), recording human deeds (Raqib and Atid)📝, taking lives (Izrail)💀, and others. They do not have their own desires and always obey God.

Believing in angels means acknowledging their existence📈, understanding their duties, and realizing that they play a role in human life, both in this world and in the afterlife🕙. This belief strengthens a person's faith and encourages him to live according to the teachings of Islam.

So the conclusion of our discussion from this types is;

It is God who created each angel who has a different task such as conveying revelation, bringing sustenance, taking care of people ❤️and recording good and bad deeds to increase our piety towards God because it helps mankind in appreciating the greatness of God in creating creatures that have a great task👍🏻 and helping people in increasing our love for God because God sends angels as guardians⌛

Belief in Messengers

"belief in messengers" is to believe with confidence that God has sent the Messengers to guide people to the right path. These messengers were chosen by God to deliver revelations, lead people to the truth, and warn against going astray

So, in this topic we discuss about Rasul ulul Azmi, the Rasul who faced a very heavy and terrible test such as Prophet Muhammad SAW, Prophet Nuh and Prophet Adam

Based on the story of Prophet Nuh :

Prophet Nuh was a prophet who preached for 500 years and died at the age of 950. Prophet Nuh was sent by Allah SWT among the idolaters.

Prophet Nuh AS preached with all his might to his stubborn people. However, during his preaching he only got 70 to 80 followers.

Once, Prophet Nuh then prayed to Allah SWT. Prophet Nuh prayed for his people to be guided. Allah SWT answered the prayer and ordered Noah and his followers to build a big boat.

So, this is one part of the story from the Prophet Nuh

Belief in the Messenger is the basis of faith in Islam. God has sent many Messengers to guide people to the right path. All Messengers brought the teachings of Tawheed, and Islam perfected their teachings with Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the closing of the Prophets.

Belief in hereafter

" belief in hereafter " is to believe with confidence that life in this world is not the end, but that there will be eternal life after death. Every human being will be resurrected, counted, and given a reward based on their deeds either to heaven or hell

therefore, we as a Muslim need to balance between this world and the hereafter. For example, everything we do must be for the sake of God, always be grateful for what happens even if we don't want it, be patient with all the tests that God gives because every test has wisdom and God knows everything. contentment is the highest level of one's faith and we should never be proud of what we have

belief in Qhada' and Qadar

" Belief in Qada' and Qadar " is to believe wholeheartedly that everything that happens in this world has been determined by Allah SWT. Every thing, whether good or bad, has been determined by Him based on His knowledge and wisdom

So, for this part we point it about everything that happens has its wisdom, so we as Muslims who have faith in our hearts must always be patient, thankful, avoid being arrogant in ourselves and don't ever have the tendency to despair because of everything we get and face because God allows it. God is just, because God knows what we need and what is good and bad for us. then, we need to always be husnuzon with Allah and always strive and trust
