         <description><![CDATA[<div>Firstly, let's all take a look back at our rules, routines, and expectations which were outlined at the beginning of this strand of learning.<br><br>Safety Considerations:</div><ul><li>Suitable footwear must be worn i.e. no socks.</li><li>Only practice on mats and padded floors; not hard surfaces.</li><li>No jewelry, baggy clothing, eating/chewing gum, etc.</li><li>One person uses each piece of equipment at a time.</li><li>Utilize space/stay away from walls and other obstacles.</li><li>Sanitize equipment before and after use.</li></ul><div><br>Before the warm-up begins, all students should get into groups of 4.<br>Remember who is in your group as they will be your team for the lesson today!</div>]]></description>

         <title>4. Warm Up!!!</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Aim - To make sure everyone is warmed up, limber, and ready for the type of movements needed for the lesson today.<br><br>Step 1.&nbsp;<br>Get moving! First, the class should start with basic movements like briskly walking in different directions around the hall then progressing to jogging with a change of direction&nbsp;<br>After this then adapt the moment into basic crawls and hops .<br>Time = Step 1 with progressions for 2-3 minutes<br><br>Step 2.&nbsp;<br>Next in the warm-up, it's about adapting the body to more complex movements, the teacher will show and perform all the movements before the start of step 2.<br><br>Start with the class getting into pairs and one follows the other copying more advanced crawls, hops, and jumps with level change and change of direction being the main aim with balances.&nbsp;<br>After this, the class will copy the teacher's dynamic stretching that will focus on movement for stretching rather than traditional basic stretches.&nbsp;<br>This will warm up appropriate joints and gets students ready for the next step in the warm-up.&nbsp;<br>Time = 3-4 minutes<br><br>Step 3.&nbsp;<br>This is the final step of the warm-up and its aim is to get as close to the movements being performed in the main session as possible.&nbsp;<br>Progression on to full effort jumps, spins, hops, balances, and holds.&nbsp;<br>All students are able to move freely around the hall performing a movement but when the teacher says a different movement all students must transition into it.&nbsp;<br><br>Time = 1 minute on 20 seconds off x 3, total 4 minutes.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
