Create a print rich environment so children can participate in read aloud, group/choral reading, rhyme, and chant. Conversing back and forth with children can help children begin to learn new vocabulary. An adult can narrate what they are doing in front of children using new words while acting the word out. Creating props for reading like puppets, cutouts, and backgrounds to make a play. Also, utilizing a classroom computer for students to use and explore.
