Yes I agree with him. Courage is essential in leadership because doing the right thing takes strength. Like Simon Sinek says, courage comes from relationships, when someone believes in us and stands by us, we’re braver. That kind of support builds real leadership.

I completely agree with him. It's very important to have courage and confidence as a good leader, since it sets the base for many leadership competencies like communicating often and openly. Apart from that, a quality of great leaders that I have in mind is emotional intelligence.

I do agree with Simon, there is such an importance of leaders to not always be the outgoing energetic person and instead sometimes there have to be the calm person who people feel they can be confidential with.

I partly agree with him.Courage is obviously important.It is the first step to set up a great team.But sometimes blind courage can lead to mistake.

I agree with Simon however courage is the first or one of the first steps because what comes after courage? You had the courage to implement a new procedure, process or product etc and it goes wrong, it fails, it's not quite right. You must also have resilience and ability to adapt in adversity and deal with diverse complex problems and stakeholders to reach organisational goals.

I disagree, while courage is important for leadership, there are many situations where courage is unrelated to leadership. Soldiers are trained just to follow orders for the most part, not lead, though they have more courage than any other group of people. The most important characteristic of a good leader would be the drive to understand the environment and people around (and under) them.

I agree with him. Courage is required, but equally is authenticity. He is definitely correct that leaders don't always need to be LOUD and charismatic to be successful.

I somewhat agree with Simon. While courage allows leaders to build relationships and trust with their workers, it is essentially communication that allows those leaders to truly understand the thoughts and values of their employees.

I agree with Simon but I don't think is it the first and foremost important characteristic of a leader. He mentioned that courage is the foundation for integrity, and that may be the case, however, I feel that integrity and honesty are the most valuable aspects of leadership. With integrity and honesty comes compassion and empathy, which results in the encouragement and understanding of others.

I agree in certain parts with Simon, mostly in that you don’t have to be a Steve Jobs leader and also be a good leader, but I think there more important characteristic of being a leader such as the vision and the service for others, and for my those are the flying wheel of leadership.

I agree with Simon and would add that modern leadership demands the courage to listen to others and trust their judgment, rather than assuming one is always right.

Courage is very important to have as a leader, I agree with Simon in that. But I don't think it is the most important trait. Things such as being able to listen to your team, encourage them, make quick decisions when needed and many more. Some might say that it takes courage to do all those things, but it doesn't have to. It takes someone with understanding and patients.
