It’s a bit difficult to choose a favourite dish because I have many. But I must say that I love sweet meals and in that case I would choose “chocotorta”. It’s a cake made from chocolate cookies and caramel spread (in Argentina we call it ‘dulce de leche’). In some cases, people also add some coffee to the cookies to enhance the flavour. I believe the secret for this cake is to eat it frozen or at least very cold.

It tastes delicious and despite people use to eat it on birthday parties, I’m sure you can eat at and enjoy it at any moment.

A dish I really liked when I was a child is Mbeyu. It’s a typical Paraguayan dish made from cassava starch, creamy cheese, butter, milk and a bit of salt. It tastes delicious and people usually eat it for breakfast or a snack.

My grandparents, on my mother’s side, where Paraguayan so Mbeyu was a classic of our family meetings. It reminds me of many beautiful childhood memories.

I'm very agree with you! In my opinion, if we talk about cakes, the "chocotorta" is the best option because of its delicious ingredients, so good choice!

They are made of cheese and sugar. They are a classic in my family. My grandmother used to make them when I was a child, and she still cooks them for me. They are fried empanadas, and even though they might sound heavy, they are actually not.

oh, I love empanadas, and more if they are made by grandma (mine used to make them of meat; and it was the excuse to gather all the family). The mix of cheese and suger should be delicious!
