Words which finish with IBLE or ABLE mean that you can do the verb....here are some examples:
Can you drink the water?
Yes, it's drinkable. = able

Can you wash the jacket?
Yes, it's washable. = able

I can blow up my boat = it's inflatable

ABLE is usually usually used on old English words but some words in English come from Latin, the language the Romans spoke. We use IBLE on these words.
Here are some examples:
If you can see something, it is
visible = ible
If you cannot do something, it's
impossible = ible

If you don't know English, it can be difficult to know which words come from Latin.  You can use a dictionary to check which ones to use.
