Difficult situation if The United States didn't participated in war

Beliefs:
The United States would be better of if they focused more on themselves, instead of focusing and using money on war.

Policies:
Military Troops around the would be called home, so USA wouldn't need to participate in war, only when needed or in self defense.

Arguments for/against:
For: United States would avoid unnecessary conflicts or making themselves a target for the enemy.

Against: The United States might be shut out by the rest of the world when they as the Super Power they are, have a huge impact on the wars going on around the world. It is selfish of USA to think that they are more important than all the world problems going on around the world.

The World Must Help The UN- Future 3

-Countries must help the UN in order to fix the worlds problems

Beliefs:
-The world must work cooperatively to address global problems that affects us all. richer nations cooperate a lot

Policies:
-Engage in military action abroad only with the cooperation or approval of the UN or another regional institution

Arguments For:
-Giving more power and authority to international organizations does not make us powerless. On the con contrary, by bringing nations together to solve common problems, we will gain the strength to deal with the worlds challenges

Arguments Against:
-By handing over power to international organizations, we will lose much of our international influence . China, Japan, Russia and other leading powers will take advantage of our cooperative spirit to make themselves stronger at our expense

-Protect the U.S. economic and security interests worldwide is more important than promoting lofty ideas.

- Worldwide trade
-Pursue "green" technology
-Confront any nation that has terrorists

The United States has the power and responsibility to promote and protect U.S values around the world, even if we have to act alone.
