I predict that the story is going to be about a kid that is being haunted/followed by monster. During the story kid has to overcome challenges by the monster. The monster will defeat the kid and then the kid will end up turning into the monster and then the monster turns back into the kid he used to be.

Conor´s life experiences affect how he acts to his friends and the nightmares he has. He doesn't care about if he has friends and his rude to them. He doesn't want any because they treat him differently. It connects how doesn't tell the truth and doesn't tell anyone about how he gets bullied. He lets Lily take all the blame and then lied to the Principal. He also doesn't let anyone know about his nightmares but he isn't afraid of the monster. Since his father had left him when he was little and his mom was sick, he started taking care of him self and he became mature from those events.

The first tale talks about how the prince kills the farmers daughter, and blames it on the queen. This one connects by his grandma. In the second tale the parson preached against the apothecary and was only nice to him when he needed him to save his daughters. This connects with him by his mom. In the third tale Conor and the monster beat up Harry after the story of being invisible. This connects to Conor.

I would change the bully to make him a little younger because he looks too old to be picking on Conor, Conor looks way younger than the bully. I would also put Lily in the movie because she had a big role in the book but has nothing to do in the movie. She was the reason why he was so lonely and had no friends.
