Which means that when there are rough times, you are sheltered. But there are some things/people who are still out in the rain and don't have anybody or anything to shelter them from rough times. Next time though, you may be that person or thing out in the rain with nothing or nobody to shelter you, so be cautious. Also, this poem makes me think that the little things in life are important and do have a use too. The poem states, "So much depends upon a red wheel barrow." The red wheel barrow isn't a huge thing in life, but is rather a little thing. And this little thing is important to the farmers and the chickens too. The farmers use it to carry things and the chickens use it as shelter. This proves that the little things in life do have a meaning and are important in some way. The next line "a red wheel barrow" is connecting itself to the first line by meaning that a lot depends upon a red wheel barrow. Then the line "glazed with rain water" means that a red wheel barrow gets rained on but continues because so much depend on it. Last the line "beside the white chickens" reminds me of how chickens live because wheel barrows are commonly used on farms.
