Most languages are not neutral gender. What does it mean? That for example, there are words like t policeman and stewardess are gender-specific job titles, what implies a sexist connotation. Then, what can we do? Use the corresponding gender-neutral terms, for example police officer and flight attendant.
That's very common in Latin languages, like Spanish of French, where words have gender (masculine or feminine), and it is usually used the masculine word for talking about a group, even though it includes both masculine and feminine. For example, 'mis padres, mis hermanos' etc.
In English, when writing it is better to use a plural subject or impersonal sentences to avoid that. For example, 'A teenager usually spends....he/she....' so, it's better to use: 'Teenagers.... they....'.

There are some cases in which females are treated better than males, and the same happens in the other way round.

Refering to clothing, girls have these rules more limited. They are not allowed to wear shorts, and I do not think that this is a good idea, because in may and june, it is a real challenge for them to find the right outfit. They have no other option than wearing long trousers during all year.

This happens to the boys, in this occasion they are treated differently by the teachers. Girls are allowed to do more things, and they have to do something really messed up to get punished. Whereas the boys are being watched during el the class and can be warned more easily.

And cases like these, we can find loads but the few that I have commented are really unfair and I can't stand them. For exemple, some people say thatin spanish  giving the articles "el" or "la" to objects is sexist but I don't think that this dicriminates or may offend anyone.
Despite this, there is sexism in many countries and socially, for example, in some countries women can't vote or they don't have any tipe of privileges.
Before women coudn't go to school just for being womens.

There are a lot of people who don't feel identified with their designated pronouns. Maybe because they don't feel at all men or women and there was no pronoun defining them as they really felt. A few years ago, a gender-neutral pronoun apeared and nowadays it is trying to be introduced to our daily vocabulary. For instance, in English, instead to say 'he or she', we say 'they' to generalize. Another example, in Spanish, we change 'él or ella' for 'elle' or 'elles' dipending on whether it is in the singular or plural form.

A few years ago there was lots of sexism in jobs that could only be done by men or only done by women. In the last years the ideas of sexism in society have changed and currently is none who is impeded to do the job they want. However, there is sexism by some companies who prefere to have an specific gender for an specific role in the company. Also there is also sexism in the police and fireman tests because, men need to do the physical part in a higher difficulty than women so women have more possibilities to enter.

At the time that we have to analize the money that one women and one men earns in a period of time, we can appreciate that a men earns a specific quantity of money more than a women. For example: in a business where it works a lot of people of both genders, it would probably earn more quantity of money a men than a women.

So that's it. In cooking or cleaning ads are usually associated with women because they used to be at home taking care of childs and of the house too, doing all the housework. So this has evolved and now it looks like something normal, and that cannot be.
