Being able to speak Polish fluently unlocks some communities that would otherwise be harder to be a part of. One example is having some friends that speak Polish allows us to speak more privately. Another example is being able to understand people that English is not their first language better more specifically any people that have a Slavic language as their primary language including the Ukrainians that came over because of the war
