Hi Cai,

It is not easy to type this farewell note, given the significant impact you have made on me and the team (the entire ASEAN S&T team would wholeheartedly agree to this statement!). The genuine care, trust, empathy, and proactive support which you have exemplified from the very day I stepped in have been invaluable and instrumental to my growth. I'm truly grateful to have experienced your direct leadership and coaching. This involves recognizing our efforts for a job well done which in turn motivates us to do better, to do more than expected. You are easily approachable and consistently offering your support even though time is a constraint. Your ability to inspire, motivate, and support the S&T team is truly remarkable.

Thank you for everything, Cai. You have left a lasting legacy and footprint in our hearts and minds. We will miss you dearly, but we know that you will always be just a message or ping away!

I still remember how you were my manager for the shortest period of time - but yet, it was such a profound period. You showed me the empathy, the kindness, the wisdom to cutting through the noise and get to the heart of any issues.
