I'm Elvi, a predoctoral student in the DTIC department. Specifically, my thesis deals with depression from a Computational Neuroscience perspective. I have never been a teacher, except for some tutoring for high school children. My previous training is a bachelor's degree in Biomedicine and a master's degree in Bioinformatics. Now, I have just been accepted for the FPU grant of the Spanish government and I need to be part of some subjects for 20h during the next 3 years. I think it's a very big and exciting challenge and I'm really looking forward to it.

I’m currently teaching a course on TV studies and analysis, and previously I also taught some classes on film history and contemporary cinema (all here at UPF). Prior to that, I had worked as a teaching assistant for a creative writing course in Uruguay (where I'm from).

I am Simona Getova, a PhD candidate and a guest lecturer in the area of feminist political ecology at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at UPF.
I have held many trainings and facilitated a number of workshops in my work and organizing with grassroots movements, civil society initiatives, youth, and policy practitioners, but this semester it would be the first time for me giving guest lectures at UPF. I will hold a couple of seminars on the topic of my research for the course on Global Environmental Governance taught by prof. Christos Zografos. 
My teaching/training/facilitating has been evolving over the years, but I have so far relied heavily on popular education methods and interactive approaches.
