I am king James I and I am the first puritan king who took over after the great queen Elizabeth. I was the first king of England to translate the bible into English, calling it the king James bible. I was honored as the namesake for the new English settlement in our newly acquired land of America. we named it Jamestown.

I am king Charles I, i believed in the divine right of kings. I dissolved the government body without permission which led to the English civil war in 1642. the war ended with me being defeated and Oliver Cromwell winning. later I was executed for treason against my country.

my name is oliver cromwell I was king and military leader for the English civil war. my success in the civil war caused me to be crowned Lord protector and I ruled England until I died in 1658. I was known for being a military dictator and I abolished the monarchy so that there could be a commonwealth.
