]]> 2022-03-10 13:42:07 UTC https://padlet.com/tecnologiaustavirtual/4t1052z8nsdz887e/wish/2088341772 valentinarios331 https://padlet.com/tecnologiaustavirtual/4t1052z8nsdz887e/wish/2088380989 Personally, I believe that the state of Colombia doesn’t care much about enforcing perfomr with this law, and it is that the free development of personality is not only about sexual or general tastes of a person, the free development of personality also It can be seen in a haircut, a nail color, a tattoo, religion, sports tastes and among others, and it is very common to see that in schools, students are required (some, mine for example) a haircut stipulated for all students, neither longer nor shorter; girls cannot paint their nail;, cannot wear make-up or earrings that attract attention; cannot wear clothing that has different colors than those allowed at school. They are things that look simple, but at large ranges it is a very serious problem, and non-compliance with this standard is very noticeable at the national level. What I want to get at is that maybe Colombia does comply in some cases, but it is necessary to note that personality is not governed only by a gender or the tastes of a person.

 Some examples in which it is shown that this is not fulfilled as such are:
 * the traditions or cultures that sometimes force people to be something that they are not or with which they do not feel identified.
 *Homophobic people who discriminate and prevent the free development of these, making them feel undervalued or less because of their taste or gender attraction.
 * The exclusion of genders with which some people feel identified, making them feel absurd, underestimating what they consider themselves to be and what they think they are more comfortable with.

When we speak of free personality, we refer to the way of being of an individual whit in society, looking at his life and work plan in progress, implying the essential elements for the autonomy of the human being which are: freedom and dignity. All these are some of the characteristics that make each subject unique, different, and incomparable. The right to the personality, raised in article 16 of the national constitution, becomes an unquestionable slogan in the society.
