However, historians believed that the Hebrews (another Asiantic group) settled in Egypt.

Some historians also believed that Hyksos ruled Hebrews to settle Egypt.

According to the Bible, the first one that crossed the Euphrates River was Abraham and his family. (His descendants moved back to Egypt again around 1650 B.C.)

Expulsion and Slavery

Around 1600 B.C., Egypt's power began to be restored by a series of warlike rulers. 

People including Queen Ahhotep kicked Hyksos out. 

Kamose (the next pharaoh) won against Hyksos and this caused Hyksos to completely leave Egypt.

After that, Hebrews stayed in Egypt until between 1500 and 1200 B.C. and while that, they were enslaved and forced to work hard. 

The New Kingdom of Egypt (Kaveash)

After overthrowing the Hyksos, the New Kingdom pharaohs (1570-1075 B.C.) built an empire, marking Egypt's third period of glory. They became wealthier and more powerful, equipped with bronze weapons and chariots.

Hatsheput's prosperous rule:

Among the rulers of the New Kingdom, Hatsheput declared herself as a pharaoh around 1472 B.C. unlike other New Kingdom rulers, Hatsheput spent her reign encouraging trading instead of war.

Thutmose the empire builder:

Thutmose is the stepson of Hatsheput, Thutmose focused on expanding the empire. Thutmose invaded Palestine, Syria and Nubia. Egypt was most powerful and wealthy during the reign of New Kingdom pharaohs.

Egyptians and the Hittites:

Egyptian conquest Syria and Palestine around 1400s B.C. Egypt's pharaohs, Ramses II and the Hittite king signed a peace treaty.

An Age of builder:

Like the rulers of the old Kingdom who built pyramids, the rulers of the Kingdom also built grand buildings. Ramses II built a huge statue of himself.

The Empire Declines (Shun)

During a time called the Late Bronze Age collapse around 1200 BC, Egypt was faced with invasions by a group known as the “Sea Peoples”.
These invaders caused a lot of damage.
As a result , Egypt lost the war and their power and broke into smaller regions.
Later Libyan rulers took over and they adapted to Egyptian culture and somehow Nubians also ruled Egypt and they adapted to Egyptian culture also.

For centuries, Egypt ruled over Nubia and the Kushite kingdom. Egyptian armies frequently invaded Kush, but when Egypt declined during the Hyksos period, Kush rose to power and even established its own dynasty on the Egyptian throne. Nubia, located south of Egypt along the Nile River, was a vital trade route connecting Egypt to the African interior and the Red Sea.Goods and ideas flowed back and forth along the river for centuries. The first Nubian kingdom, Kerma, arose shortly after 2000 B.C.
