      <description>The Civil war was a very gruesome war with many deaths between both the northern and southern states. Their were very high tensions between both of the sides before Abraham Lincoln was elected in 1860 then he was forced to send a army due to the high tensions caused by the south not wanting to give up slavery and westward expansion. This conflict was a battle of the states and was called a civil war. It was the most costly war ever and many deaths followed in this very harsh war.
