As the model was wearing black tights and was located in front of a black background, I used a soft box on the floor in order to see light on the models leg. I also used the biggest soft box in the studio. The first few outcomes was under exposed, so then I had to change the settings for the model to be visible. But overall the photoshoot went well.

For the photo I went onto photoshop then onto color look up to find this filter named ‘Fuji ETERNA 250D Kodak 2395’ which created a film look. I also kept to a color palette to black, white and yellow. I was inspired by the 80s vogue magazines, which I mentioned in my research.  For the cover lines I kept to the same tone of yellow so that it will match the models outfit. The concept to my theme was modernizing 70s and 80s fashion and producing them into magazine covers or double page spreads. I have learnt a lot throughout this project, for example lighting, body language, and edits, and more about the camera settings. Overall, I have completed 9 final pieces which I thought had improved each time, and one final piece. Being consistent was my main target for this project, as I struggled before in my last final major projects. However, going through my sketchbook, I felt as if I had improved especially with my ideas and outcomes. I mainly did my outcomes on photoshop as I had no knowledge of InDesign to produce my magazine covers. The main problems that I dealt with were mainly using what lighting and camera settings to use, however in the end I got used to the equipment and what processes to use. For the project my audience was towards 16-21 year olds women who are interested in fashion and learning about other eras such as 70s and 80s, which I focused on more. Throughout the project I could have been more consistent even though I had slightly improved. For my research I have linked to my outcomes on where I got inspiration from, which helped construct my pieces together. This project I found that my outcomes could have been improved by using more experiments on designing a cover such as InDesign or even producing 2D results.
