This is a growth area for me because once I hear any small comment that is racist, I automatically say something. I will obviously feel some type of way towards it and would speak my mind on it.  Then I started to try to ignore any racist or rude comment that others say because we do have freedom of speech (image is shown).  I would sometimes try to have a civil conversation to figuring out why that person feels that their comment was appropriate to say out loud. This is a strength area for me because I enjoy learning new cultures and see how different it is to mines (image is shown). I did attend to the Hispanic Potluck we had this school year and was able to teach others about my culture and try new foods that I didn’t know we Hispanics eat (image is shown).
