In order to maintain an effective schedule you must plan out the daily tasks and activities according to the amount of time you have in your day. Time management is the process of organising and planning how to divide your time between specific activities.
As a teacher you need to prioritise your tasks in order of importance so that your class is getting the most out of their school day. For example, setting an allocated time for each worksheet or activity or a specific hour for each subject (if you're a primary school teacher.)
I am used to being in timed conditions for activities and task planning as at school and TAFE I had plenty of assignments for each class and had to get them done by a certain date or i would lose a percentage of my mark. So in order to avoid that, I would list out my tasks and when they were due, the ones that would take the least and the most time to complete and finished them that way. This can be applied to the teaching job by getting upcoming classes ready, excursions booked, seating plans before students come in, etc.

To ensure a flowing class for your students it helps to plan out your students activities for the day or week. Prior to the lesson starting you should have a schedule or a a list of goals you need to achieve that class, whether it be "Teach the class about Multiplication, Divison and Sums of" in dot points, or a whole mapped out lesson plan explaining and narrowing down each concept for you to teach by.

If you are not organised before a class you'll leave your students waiting and bored, resulting in them not having anything to do and causing them to be unfocused and not willing to learn once you do give them the work. Being organised also requires having notes available in sheets or on the board so the students can copy as you explain through them. I understand how important your organisation skills need to be when you are a teacher and I believe that I hold this skill. In a previous job I didn't receive a roster and would have to enter all my shifts into a planner or calendar when they were told verbally to me. If I wasn't organised with the days and times i was working i would have consequences, even though sometimes if i wasn't told or if i misheard when i was working.

Creativeness

When you're a teacher you want to give a fun environment for your students to learn in. I am a very creative person and can come up with great learning activities in which the students will participate in. I believe taking notes off a board is essential at times, however I understand that all children learn differently and I will cater to their needs the best I can. I have fun and appropriate ideas for different tasks and Inbelieve my creativeness can benefit the students in multiple ways. To be creative you must know how to think out of the box and out of normal structure. By turning something boring or repetitive into a game or song can increase the chances of a student remembering the content. How often do you hear a song and remember every lyric word for word? How often do you see a math equation and remember the written formula? My guess is not very often..

Different styles of teaching see results in all students off the classroom, rather than one method only benefiting 60% of kids.

Being punctual requires you to be at said place at the correct time. This is essential in this teaching role as you need to be reliable for your students. Being early to the class so you can ensure you're set up for when the students arrive. Being punctual means never being late and always being prompt. This skill also ties into time management and Organisation.
An example of being punctual as a teacher is not leaving the students outside the classroom waiting for you to come and unlock the door. It also involves letting them out on the bell and letting them be on time to their next class.
I am a very punctual person as I never leave anybody waiting around for me. To previous jobs in stores I would never be late for my shifts and if something were to come up I would notify my boss immediately.

Some diversity issues that people may experience are knowing how to act and speak around people of different race, religions, gender, those who have a disability or a different sexuality to them. To work as a teacher in an environment which had a large variety of people, you must learn how to adapt and be open minded.
You are the leader to these students and shouldn't be grouping them or treating them differently, and because I am a very understanding and welcoming person to everyone, i believe this role will not be an issue for me.
Some people handle certain situations in the wrong way, or have a negative opinion on certain groups of people or ideas in todays society. You need the ability to shine a positive culture through your students and sway them away from negative ideas towards diversity amongst people.
