In my point of view the use of social media based on age as media learning is appropriate in around up to fifteen years old. In that age, people usually have had a good thinking to control and manage their self in using social media. Moreover they can use it to follow the new technology that has many benefits. They can gain as much as possible their knowledge by searching many journal or research and etc around the world. For under fifteen years old, I do not think that social media is inappropriate because they can use social media for learning but in under parent’s control. To make sue about the information, I prever the studets to choose blog than facebook or any others.

Based on reading I did, when I did research on semester two as my assignment, I concerned on ICT, then I summary that social media is influenced to student’s learning. But again, we have to consider the factors in using it. Well, begin with age. Not every stage of students needs it, for instance a primary school’s student. We can say nowadays is a technology era, but we cannot always follow all the new things. As parents or teachers, we know that preventing is the best way. It should be better if kids, age 1-10, are being prevented to use social media, although it is used for learning. Different with teenagers and adults, sometimes they know what’s good and what’s better. As a student of university, for example, they know the aim of what they will do. When playing Facebook, there are a lot of pages that is provided by Facebook, including education page. A website on the Internet has their own Facebook account, such as British Council. Then, let’s see a blog. A learner can enhance his writing skills by posting a writing and start becoming a reader of a great writer, and a student of university can do this easily, as I did on my blog. I write and become reader of my friends all around the world. It works, if we are really interested and know what’s good and what’s better. That’s a function of social media working on ages.

1. Age

In my point of view, Social Media is important for learning. Besides that, it can easier when learning process. In this Era many people using Social Media. As we know that children, teenager, adolescent, and others are knows how to using internet. A lot of information about learning is available in Internet. But, in this time Internet many people using abusing Social Media. For example: Children who have age under 13th can access internet. As a result, without knowledge their parent they can access not useful information. So, parents or teacher should supervise students when using social media. Then explain what are negative and positive by using social media.

Aspects to consider in using Social Media for learning:

Many people have a social media for share about religion and learning. Many people use facebook, twitter and blog for share a certain important for me or all of people. From the children until adult use social media and social media is very important in our life but social media often use not share about good but share not important or not advantages.

Many people ask how age appropriate if we use facebook or blog. I think if the children use facebook will give bad impact for children because in learning for children social media not give good impact for children because children more than play game so children able to use social media if the student can use for good impact for learning or teacher or parent can control the children if the children use social media and give instructions to the good. 

The function of Social media is to communicate with other people and share about everything. Social media are twitter, facebook, tumblr, blog etc. Now, many people in the world using Social media from the children until adult. And social media have a good and bad influence. In my poin of view, Social media for language learning is appropriate. Cause remembers of the function from the social media is to communicate with other people and share about everything like a facebook and blog. In a blog we have share about article that relation with learning. So we will get some knowledge. And if we use the facebook we can communicate with foreign. Automatically we also learn language foreign. It is can increase English language.

Aspects to consider in using social media for learning :

Social media is one of new discovery , it is can make people connection with each others in the world. It use internet connection and mayoritas the user of social media is teenagers , but for adult is also many use social media to communicated with their friends , client and ect. The example of social is instagram , twitter , facebook , path , skype , line , BBM. Social media have a many function but it’s have benefit and weakness. One of benefit social media forlearning media ,the first example is for  Adaptability. With social networking students will be able to learn how to develop technical and social capabilities needed them in the face of today's digital age. They will find ways to adapt and socialize with friends in social networks, as well as the ability to manage their friendship.The second example is for Friendship Network Expansion. Because with social networking the students can add a friendship network without having to meet in person so that they can easily create a community that is beneficial to them, whether it be in the discussion lesson and other things that can make a positive contribution to their students.And the third example is can make students motivated , because with the formation of a broad community of friends, it will be able to motivate the students to develop themselves from the material or input new friends they are connected in online. The fourth example is Increasing Concern . because Greet each other in the social networking site will gradually improve the quality of friendship, concern and empathy among friends who are connected online.

In my point of view, I did not say that social media is inappropriate or appropriate but it’s depend on the material or lesson that need the student to searching something. For language learning, I think student should use social media for their basic such as trying to have a conversation with other people from other country. In facebook, we could say that it’s public because all people that have facebook account always post something even the good or the bad post. So as the student, maybe should careful when accept the requesting from other people that you did not know. For blog, it’s a privacy account that other people will not send you something bad because they need your blog address. I think blog is the good one to use in language learning than facebook. So as a parent or teacher, for student that under 12 years old they need someone to watching them when they use a social media.

in my point of view social media can appropriate to using in language learning, because as we know that social media have many information or knowledge for language learning or social media can use for people who want to study language. In social media also we learn too easy just read the article or watching the teacher in youtube. . Social media do not use for any age for example for children, I afraid there are children that found something negative, they possible to use social media but if they parents with them in that time. If talking about facebook or blog? I think in facebook just give function for interaction with other people or our friend. But now days facebook so many criminalism. Blog can become our second book. The conclusion is social media is appropriate if when the user used it well.

Social media is placed that people demonstrate their pretension. There are so many people in using social media, it stars from  Earlychildhood until middle age. In this case, we can classify them. Most of the early childhood use Facebook in modern era. Moreover Middle age use blog. But they able to operate both of the social media. Their necessity can cover in using social media for learning to know appropriate or not in their ages.

Age is very crucial to talk. The Boundaries of age can block everyone to do something. If they understand about their age,make sure they can conduct what they do. It means, they able to control their self. How about children in the modern era, make sure they cannot separated by social media. Social media is part of their necessity, the evidence of it, when they want to hang out with their friends, they direct to post in the Facebook. Who is teach them? The environment that teach them to do that. Facebook is only application, the people that operate them. It means, we should blame the people that operate them. It is include the children, which they cannot get teach from their educators. We have already talk regarding environment that is big scope. How about if we move to little scope at school, make sure the student can get benefit of social media especially Facebook, because they obtain worthy educators that give role model to operate social media. They able to interaction one another, and they make group discussion to discuss regarding subject they do not understand. Not only that, students also convey their writing in Facebook, and get benefit responses from fellow students.  That is sign of Facebook is very important at school especially in learning. Thus, Facebook is much needed in learning, and it becomes appropriate if the student get good educators to operate them.

This is difference with Middle age to operate the social media especially blogs. Blog is very needed by people in middle age, because it can help them in the learning. Learning in promoting something, learning to interest the attention of other people. They can do in blogs. Blogs has diversity item that rescue middle age to promote something. For instance, they promote about their company that need employee, and the other people can direct response in blog. Not only that, but also describe their company. Besides they able to learn how to introduce their indirect product through blog, and it try to interest the people. This sign of social media is appropriate in this age to help them in learning.

Thus, early childhood can operate the social media well with good guide to point them in using Facebook. That is different with children in the environment that do not get guide to point them, they operate the social media base on their little bit knowledge in order to they get bad way. Moreover Middle age need social media especially blog to learn howto promote something in their blog and through it, they can make people interest. So. Social media is very appropriate in learning.  

Is social media appropriate or inappropriate for language learning? From my point of view, it is depends on the users. Social media can be appropriate in language learning, it because in this era, people more interested with the simple one. For example, students are more like to share or send their homework in to an email or other social media than write their homework on paper then collect to their teacher. But, social media also can be inappropriate for language learning. Some student becomes addicted to the social media. So, if they got assignment from their teacher, student rather to browsing than work that assignment with their own ability. Student just copy and paste without looking for is it the correct answer or not. It means, student become lazier and their mindset become damage. It is the dangerous effects of social media.
